On a small coastline where silence and the sea breeze are constant, the story of a young woman named Dorothy unfolds, as she finds herself caught between duty and her desire for freedom. After the death of her mother, Dorothy lives with her grandmother, a strict woman who expects her granddaughter to become the perfect lady and marry a good man from the community. However, the arrival of a mysterious and handsome sailor awakens feelings in her that she has never experienced before.

This outsider, with tales of adventure and a free spirit, speaks to her about a world beyond the narrow confines of her home, intriguing her and challenging her reality. As the chemistry between them grows, Dorothy grapples with the choice between following family expectations and plunging into the unknown. Their relationship becomes a refuge for her restless soul, while the tension between tradition and modernity intensifies in the social environment that surrounds her.

The film highlights the protagonist's struggle to find herself in a sea of expectations and how love can offer new perspectives. With a visual approach that captures the beauty of the ocean and the oppression of home, this moving drama sheds light on repressed dreams and the quest for true freedom, leaving the viewer reflecting on the decisions that define our lives.
