In an old, crumbling asylum in Massachusetts, a group of workers from a cleaning crew is hired to get rid of the accumulation of junk and waste in the building. Each of them has their own personal struggles, ranging from family issues to financial debts. As they begin to explore the unsettling place, they discover recordings of therapy sessions of a patient that reveal dark and disturbing secrets about the asylum's history.
As the work progresses, the tension among the team members intensifies. Gordon, the group's leader, feels overwhelmed by financial pressure and begins to experience hallucinations triggered by the place and its history. The others, increasingly anxious and curious, also start to feel the weight of the past pressing down on them, unleashing a series of events that ultimately destroy the already fragile dynamic of the group.
As the environment becomes increasingly claustrophobic and terrifying, the men are forced to confront not only the demons from the asylum's past, but also their own fears and internal traumas. The line between reality and madness blurs, and what begins as a mundane task spirals into a whirlwind of paranoia and terror, leaving each of them exposed to their worst nightmares. As the story unfolds, shocking secrets are revealed that will change all of their destinies forever.
