In this fun romantic comedy from the 1920s, we meet a group of sailors facing the eternal question of love and commitment. When cheerful sailor Joe and his shipmate, the gallant Harry, decide it's time to settle down, they embark on a series of peculiar encounters with their respective partners: the charming and determined Betty and the sweet and dreamy Susan. As the two men try to prove their worth as husbands, each situation becomes increasingly comedic and tangled.

Betty, a modern and empowered woman, is unwilling to let her relationship become conventional. On the other hand, Susan, with her romantic view of love, dreams of her wedding day. The story intensifies as misunderstandings, jealousy, and the challenges of life at sea put their relationships to the test. Against the backdrop of a beach landscape and marine life, the four protagonists navigate the turbulent waters of love, facing unexpected situations and eccentric characters that only complicate matters.

Amidst songs, dances, and a bit of classic mischief, the sailors must decide if they are truly ready to take the big step toward marriage. The comedy culminates in a conclusion that reflects the craziness and romance of life at sea, leaving everyone wondering: can love truly withstand the test of time?
