Show Me Love

In a small, monotonous town in Sweden, two adolescents in crisis are about to discover the complexities of love and friendship. The story follows Elin, a rebellious and charismatic girl with a dream of escaping the dull rhythm of her daily life. She is tired of the drama at her school and longs for something that truly makes her feel alive. On the other hand, there’s Agnes, an introspective and somewhat shy young woman who struggles with her own identity and feelings of loneliness.

Fate brings them together at an unexpected moment, and after overcoming the barriers of fear and insecurity, they begin to develop a deep connection. While Elin searches for her place in the world and confronts societal expectations, Agnes starts to open up to her own desires and, for the first time, feels truly understood by someone.

With a script that blends everyday situations with the emotional intensity of adolescence, the film captures the struggle for a sense of belonging, the fear of rejection, and the quest for authenticity. As the two girls navigate the confusion of first love and the pain of disappointment, the story takes you on a journey of personal discovery that resonates with anyone who has experienced the tumultuous mix of emotions of youth. Their relationship becomes a longed-for refuge as they confront the dilemma of being who they truly want to be.
