In a world besieged by sinister creatures that hunt their prey through sound, a family finds themselves in the midst of a struggle for survival. Along with her mother, father, and grandmother, they are forced to leave their home after an attack by these voracious creatures. However, they not only have to face the horrifying creatures lurking in the darkness, but also a cult of fanatic humans who believe that the arrival of these beasts is a sign of a new beginning and are determined to exterminate any other human being in order to establish their own vision of the world.
