In the bustling Paris of the 1960s, a successful magazine editor lives an apparently perfect life: he has a stable job, a loving family, and a cozy home. But, as often happens, behind the facade of happiness lie secrets and repressed desires. One day, during a business trip to Lisbon, his life takes an unexpected turn when he meets a mysterious young woman who ignites a spark of passion he thought was extinguished.

Driven by attraction, he embarks on a clandestine romance that forces him to question not only his marriage but also his own identity and values. The tension mounts when his wife begins to suspect his erratic behavior. Each furtive encounter with his lover reminds our protagonist of what it truly means to live, despite the consequences this may entail.

As he delves deeper into this forbidden relationship, he confronts the truth about himself and the complexity of human relationships. The film becomes a poignant exploration of the fragility of love, desire, and the pursuit of happiness in a world filled with expectations. As lies intertwine and intense emotions take control, the viewer is drawn into a chilling conclusion that reveals how desire and morality can collide in devastating ways.
