In a post-war London, a talented plastic surgeon becomes obsessed with his ability to transform lives through surgery, but his ambition leads him down a dark path. While working on a life-changing operation for a young convict named Alice, who has been profoundly marked by her past, he finds himself immersed in a moral dilemma. His desire to give Alice a new chance is intertwined with his own internal struggle for love and redemption.

Alice, after leaving prison with a new face, becomes the surgeon's muse, and he cannot help but fall in love with her. However, their happiness is overshadowed by a terrifying secret: the facial features chosen for the surgery are taken from another woman, a mysterious and glamorous figure from the past who harbors a dark secret. As the relationship between the doctor and Alice intensifies, the shadow of the original woman looms over their happiness, resonating with echoes of danger that threaten to unravel everything he has built.

With a suspenseful pace and unexpected twists, this captivating plot explores themes of identity, obsession, and the consequences of playing God. The line between love and possession blurs as the surgeon confronts the demons of his creation. Ultimately, witnessing how the true essence of an individual can be the key to redemption or destruction becomes the heart of this unsettling story.
