In a dark and enigmatic corner of suburban life, a young man named Paul Carpenter is going through a turbulent phase of his adolescence, marked by recurring nightmares that seem to reveal unsettling truths about his mother and his surroundings. After the death of his father, Paul feels increasingly trapped between reality and his fantasies, especially as he begins to suspect that his mother, now in a new relationship with a mysterious man named Greg, might be in danger.

His restless mind drives him to investigate further, uncovering a myriad of strange secrets that reveal unexpected connections between the characters around him. As his mother falls under the spell of this new suitor, Paul faces a terrifying dilemma: is his mind playing cruel tricks on him, or is there truly a sinister plot threatening his family?

To unravel this web of deceit, Paul teams up with a friend of his father, who helps him see beyond his obsessions. As the pieces of the puzzle come together, the tension mounts, and the line between madness and reality becomes increasingly tenuous. With a staggering and surprising climax, this psychological thriller explores the depths of the human mind and the fragility of relationships, leaving the audience questioning the perception of truth and madness.
