In an idyllic village by the water, a farmer feels trapped and frustrated by the monotony of his life. His heart is torn between his simple life and a seductive city woman who entices him to leave everything behind. Manipulated by this femme fatale, the farmer spirals into a whirlwind of confusion, until a dark plan to murder his wife begins to take shape.

However, when the moment arrives and fate seems sealed, something inside him awakens. Remembering the precious moments he has shared with his true love, he realizes that his life is rooted in his home and in the love he feels for her. In a burst of redemption, he decides not to let darkness consume him, much less take the final step towards tragedy.

Determined to reclaim his life and his love, the farmer takes his wife on a day trip to the city, where the beauty of life unfolds before them. Together, they experience the joy and magic of love, discovering a new world that offers them hope. Amidst the dawn's light and the glow of renewed love, the duo faces a choice between disquiet and salvation, culminating in an outcome that resonates with the essence of being human: the eternal struggle between darkness and light.
