In a world where everyday life has become monotonous and gray, Frank, a desperate and average man, struggles to find his purpose after his wife, Sarah, leaves him for a dangerous drug dealer. Frustration and sadness consume him until one day, after a series of events that seem straight out of a comic book, he decides he must do something to win back his beloved. So, he becomes a superhero, armed with nothing but unwavering faith and a frying pan.
Transforming into "The Crimson Bolt," Frank sets out to cleanse the city of the scum that plagues it, carrying out his own version of justice. However, his path is not easy. On his crusade, he encounters a quirky and enthusiastic girl named Libby, who becomes his crime-fighting partner (and something more) under the identity of "Boltie." Together, they face cartoonish villains and absurd situations while Frank struggles to maintain his sanity in a world that seems to make no sense.
As his mission progresses, Frank confronts the consequences of his actions and the blurred line between good and evil. This dark and twisted superhero comedy explores the struggle for redemption, human obsessions, and the inevitable arrival of madness, all wrapped in a hilarious and grotesque tone that will make the audience laugh and reflect.
