In a peaceful and secluded French village, a British crime novelist embarks on a journey of inspiration and self-discovery. Seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of her life in London, she takes up residence in her editor's elegant villa, which he has provided her access to. However, her tranquility is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Julie, her editor's young and impulsive daughter, who brings a whirlwind of energy and chaos.

As the writer struggles to focus on her work, the relationship between the two women transforms into a game of power and seduction. Julie, with her carefree and hedonistic personality, clashes with the meticulous and reserved nature of the writer, creating a tense atmosphere where rivalry intertwines with attraction. As summer progresses, the line between reality and fiction begins to blur, unleashing dark secrets and destabilizing their dynamics.

With tension mounting in the villa, the arrival of a mysterious event will shake their lives, forcing each to confront her own demons and repressed desires. In a surprising climax, the audience will be caught in a web of secrets, deceit, and revelations that will make them question the extent to which one can trust their perception of reality. In this exploration of obsessions and passions, the calmness of the surroundings becomes the perfect backdrop for a psychological thriller that will leave the audience breathless.
