In a gloomy and oppressive atmosphere of Paris, we follow the life of a young woman trapped in a loveless marriage with her cousin, an insensitive businessman. Thérèse, a free-spirited woman with repressed passion, longs for a more vibrant life, away from the monotony offered by her husband. One day, the arrival of an old lover, the handsome and rebellious Laurent, awakens in her a whirlwind of emotions she believed were extinguished forever.
What begins as a passionate romance soon transforms into a spiral of desperation and anguish when the couple decides to take a dark path: the elimination of her husband in order to live their love freely. Evil and betrayal intertwine, dragging Thérèse and Laurent toward an abyss from which there seems to be no return.
