In a quiet village in Sweden, we find a family struggling to deal with their own desires and frustrations. Through a series of encounters and misunderstandings, we meet a young man facing his inevitable transition into adulthood while trying to understand his role in the world. The story is imbued with symbolism, where life and death, family life and dreams, intertwine in an intricate and revealing manner.

The mother, a woman caught between her love for her family and her own yearning for freedom, escapes into a fantasy world where her desires seem to come true. Her husband, a troubled and self-destructive man, drowns his frustrations in work and solitude, while their son attempts to uncover the truth about his identity and the familial expectations surrounding him. Each family member grapples with their own demons, creating an atmosphere of tension and unease.

As the narrative progresses, the characters are forced to confront their darkest emotions, revealing hidden truths that irrevocably intertwine their lives. With a poetic visual style and an introspective narrative, this story invites viewers to reflect on the duality of human existence, where the pursuit of happiness is often thwarted by reality. It is a journey through the complexity of human relationships and the internal conflicts we all face.
