In this dark comedy, two completely opposite men find themselves caught in a web of life and death. Larry, a frustrated writer and literature professor, feels suffocated by his possessive and controlling mother, who plunges him into a sea of despair. On the other hand, Owen, an awkward and strange student of Larry's, feels equally trapped by his own domineering mother who manipulates him at her whim.

When they discuss the perfect murder during a class, Owen takes Larry's words literally and proposes a bizarre exchange: Larry should get rid of his own mother, while Owen will take care of Larry's. Although the idea seems absurd at first, it soon becomes a kind of dark pact between the two men. However, as Owen becomes obsessed with the plan, things start to spiral out of control.

As the plot unfolds, hilarious yet tense situations arise, complete with misunderstandings and a touch of chaos that keeps the audience teetering between laughter and intrigue. Owen and Larry's plans range from ridiculous to absurd, leading them into a spiral of unexpected events as they try to avoid ending up in jail. Featuring a lovable cast that includes Danny DeVito and Billy Crystal, this film explores the meaning of the bond between mother and son, all wrapped in a dark humor that leaves no one indifferent.
