In the turbulent Egypt of Cleopatra's time, a cunning and comical adventurer named Totò finds himself caught up in a series of misadventures that will lead him to become an unexpected protagonist in the court of the famous queen. It all begins when Totò, a street vendor of trinkets, barges onto a royal stage, attracting the attention of nobles with his cleverness and charisma. However, his true aim is to win the heart of a local beauty, despite his clumsiness causing him more than one headache.

As the intriguing power games unfold between Cleopatra and her enemies, Totò becomes the target of misunderstandings and hilarious situations. With his continuous blunders and his ability to wriggle out of even the worst circumstances, he gets caught up in palace conspiracies he never imagined. The tensions between love, loyalty, and ambition intertwine as Cleopatra, fascinated by his peculiar personality, begins to see in him something more than just a mere commoner.

Amid visual gags and witty dialogues, the story takes us on a journey to explore the complexity of a world where laughter and romance collide with politics and betrayal. In the midst of this chaos, Totò's heart and wit will be the true protagonists, leading us to an unexpected conclusion that makes it clear that love takes root in the most unusual places.
