Trifling Women

In a vibrant and chaotic 1920s New York, a group of women, each with their own ambitions and dreams, become intertwined in a web of romances and disillusionments. The story follows the charismatic and carefree Marjorie, who enjoys her party lifestyle but begins to question the meaning of her superficial existence when she crosses paths with the cunning and charming Harold. He seems to be the perfect man, full of promises and glamour, but the reality of their relationship soon wavers between seduction and betrayal.

In parallel, we meet her friend Louise, a determined woman aiming to make a name for herself in the entertainment world, despite the criticism and stereotypes she faces. She struggles to prove that women can be much more than what society expects of them. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she prioritizes her values and learns that sometimes pursuing love and ambition can lead to an internal struggle.

As the lives of these friends intertwine, they face the ups and downs of love, friendship, and independence in an era where opportunities and obstacles lurk around every corner. The outcome will reflect their choices, teaching them that, although the path may be murky and riddled with disappointments, there is power in authenticity and in their bond with one another. A story about self-discovery and the courage to break molds in a constantly evolving world.
