In a small village in Eastern Europe during the 18th century, people live under the yoke of terror and superstition. Two charming twin sisters, who have grown up in very different ways, return home after their father's death. One, the sweet and kind Maria, is the light of everyone's life; while the other, the seductive and rebellious Frieda, draws all eyes and stirs sensations. However, their arrival coincides with a wave of mysterious murders of young people in the area, which the locals attribute to the resurrection of an ancient vampire that stalks at night.
The twins are drawn into a web of deceit, betrayal, and hidden passions. The dark count of the region, a man tormented by his own past, is intrigued by the beauty of both sisters, but his intentions are not what they seem. As the village descends into paranoia, family ties are put to the test and the struggle for survival becomes a moral battle. As Frieda is drawn to the dark side, Maria tries to save her from a fate that seems inevitable. With the power of seduction and loyalty to their blood at stake, the twins must confront their own demons and decide at what cost they will fight for their lives in a world where love and horror coexist in a terrifying way.
