In 1960s Paris, the life of Nana, a young and beautiful woman, unfolds in twelve vignettes that capture her experiences and struggles in a charming yet cruel city. Disillusioned with her monotonous life and her job, Nana decides to leave behind her conventional existence and embark on a journey of self-discovery that leads her to explore the world of prostitution. Each tableau reveals a different aspect of her transformation: from her encounters with carefree friends to the shocking realities of her new life.

As she delves deeper into this dark sphere, Nana faces moments of desolation and helplessness, but she also experiences glimpses of love and human connection. She will meet characters who, although transient, leave a significant mark on her existence. Her quest for freedom becomes intertwined with a sense of fatality and loss.

Through innovative direction and stunning visual style, the story unfolds as an intimate and captivating portrait of a woman trapped by her own choices. The tension between the desire for freedom and the constraints of society leads her to question her identity and her future. This masterful film illustrates how a change in life can be both liberating and devastating, leaving the viewer contemplating the nature of existence and sacrifice. With a leisurely pace and a poetic approach, this work becomes an unforgettable examination of the human spirit in its search for truth.
