In a world where immigration and identity intertwine, an elderly Jewish man, marked by his past and injustice, embarks on a journey that will take him through several European cities. The story begins in a small town where his quiet life is interrupted by the arrival of a young dreamer seeking to change her fate. As bonds form between them, the old man shares his tragic history and the horrors he has faced throughout his life as an eternal traveler.

As they move forward together, they confront prejudice and discrimination, and the young woman begins to understand the elder's struggle, becoming his advocate. However, their path is filled with obstacles, from rejection by the community to the rising political tensions in 1930s Europe. The search for a place to call home leads them to confront not only their own suffering but also the pain of those around them.

As secrets from the old man’s past are revealed, both characters are compelled to examine what it truly means to belong and to find redemption in a world that seems determined to keep them apart. By the end of their journey, the value of friendship and hope resonates strongly, reminding us that in the quest for a safe place, true home resides in the hearts of those we love.
