The War Is Over

In a context of political upheaval in 1960s France, a committed activist and member of an underground group struggles with the dilemmas of resistance and everyday life. His life unfolds between secrecy and moments of tenderness with his partner, a passionate woman who tries to understand his dedication to the cause. While he is immersed in the fight against the oppressive regime, she hopes he will find a balance between activism and their relationship.

The situation becomes complicated when our protagonist faces the dilemma of continuing to fight in a seemingly endless war or abandoning his mission to seek a more normal life. As government pressure escalates and danger looms over his allies, his determination is put to the test. The viewer is immersed in a whirlwind of emotions, questioning how far one can go for ideals and what price one is willing to pay for freedom.

With a narrative that highlights the tensions between duty and love, this story presents us with complex characters that embody the internal struggle of many caught between their convictions and personal desires. Through an intimate and poetic approach, the film offers a profound glimpse into the difficult decisions that define not only their lives but also the future of a nation.
