In a quiet corner of England, a group of rabbits lives in the idyllic yet vulnerable warren of Sandleford. However, their peace is disrupted when a young rabbit named Fiver, gifted with a strange intuition, has a terrifying premonition about the imminent destruction of their home. Along with his older brother, Bigwig, they decide to flee in search of a safe refuge. On their journey, they will face unusual dangers, including the cunning and tyrannical rabbit General Woundwort, who rules his rabbit society in the deadly warren of Efrafa with an iron fist.

As the story unfolds, the group of rabbits, which includes endearing characters like the brave and tough Bigwig and the dreamer Hazel, must confront trials that test their courage and leadership. Along the way, they encounter unexpected allies and must overcome obstacles, as well as confront their own fears and rivalries. Lessons about friendship, loyalty, and the struggle for freedom intertwine with moments of harsh reality, as life in the wild is not always a bed of roses.

With exciting adventures, a backdrop of animated beauty, and a profound narrative, this journey is not only a quest for a safe place but also an exploration of resilience and the indomitable spirit of those whose desire for life and freedom transcends any threat.
