In 1970s Paris, a couple trapped in a destructive cycle of love and heartbreak faces the harsh reality of their lives. He, a mature and emotionally unstable man, struggles to confront his inner demons while clinging to his young lover. She, filled with dreams and idealism, feels trapped in a relationship that, although passionate, is wearing her down more and more. The tension between them intensifies as they become prisoners of their own expectations and fears.

The story delves into the complexity of toxic love and unfulfilled expectations, exploring how the decisions we make can lead us down dark paths. Their encounters are passionate but also marked by hopelessness and emotional exhaustion. As their relationship deteriorates, both characters grapple with dissatisfaction and the anguish of a life that seems to have no escape.

In a heartbreaking portrayal of the search for happiness and the struggle against time, the film shows how human bonds can be both a refuge and a chain. Trapped in an environment that reflects them, the couple is forced to confront their past choices and the reality of an uncertain future. The story culminates in a journey to the heart of loneliness and love, where each attempt to escape their pain only seems to bind them more closely to their tragic fate.
