In this charming dramedy, we follow the life of Wai-Tung, a young Taiwanese man living in New York. This seemingly perfect young man leads a double life, as he hides his sexual orientation from his traditional family. After years of keeping his homosexuality a secret, Wai-Tung feels pressured by his mother, who insists that he marry and give her grandchildren. To avoid confrontation and return to Taiwan, the young man is forced to come up with a plan: he decides to organize a fake wedding with his friend Wei-Wei, a woman seeking support in her culinary career who also feels trapped in her own life.

As the wedding preparations unfold, the situations become increasingly tangled, with family and friends completely unaware of the true nature of the event. With a colorful cast of characters and hilarious situations, the film addresses themes such as identity, love, family, and cultural traditions, all while unleashing a rollercoaster of emotions.

The encounters and misunderstandings between Wai-Tung and Wei-Wei provide a fun and poignant glimpse into the pressure faced by the LGBTQ+ community, preserving hilarity amidst the chaos. With a perfect blend of comedy and heartfelt moments, Wai-Tung's journey toward self-acceptance and his quest for happiness becomes a celebration of authenticity and family in all its forms.
