What Shall We Do with Our Old?

In a rural setting where time seems to have stood still, a group of young people faces a delicate situation: the growing burden of caring for the elderly in the community. The story begins with a meeting among the teenagers, who, carefree and joyful, are enjoying their youth, but soon the topic of aging and the well-being of the elderly imposes itself in the conversation. They decide it’s time to take action and wonder how they can help the seniors in their village, who often feel marginalized.

Ideas bounce back and forth amidst laughter and unexpected twists, ranging from absurd plans to more serious initiatives. Each character brings their perspective, reflecting the variety of attitudes towards aging and the respect owed to those who have lived much. However, throughout the process, the young people begin to realize that their fun and carefree attitude should not come at the expense of someone who needs their support. Through dear encounters and moments of reflection, the youth of the village discover the importance of compassion and the value of the wisdom of the elderly.

With a touch of humor and a profound message, the film invites viewers to confront universal themes of life, responsibility, and generational connection, making it clear that the true wealth of a community lies in mutual respect and care.
