Where Is My Treasure?

In a Europe torn apart by war, a young soldier is struck down on the battlefield. As his life fades, he finds himself trapped in a kind of limbo, where his soul observes from a disquieting distance as his family and loved ones cope with his death. As he witnesses his own funeral, the palpable sadness and pain of those who loved him deepen his anguish. In this state, the protagonist has the chance to reflect on his life, his decisions, and the dreams that were never realized.

Memories flow like a torrent: his childhood days, first love, and the promises of a future that now seems forever closed. However, not all is lost. On this ethereal journey, he encounters other spirits who share their stories, revealing the devastating impact of war on the lives of thousands. Together, they begin to understand the fragility of existence and the value of human connection.

The film is not just a meditation on life and death, but also a powerful critique of the brutality of war, showing how it consumes not only those who fall on the battlefield but also those who are left behind. With an artistic and emotional approach, this masterpiece of silent cinema becomes an evocative reminder of the need for peace and love in a world often filled with chaos and destruction.
