In a small Italian village, the life of a woman is marked by personal tragedy when her husband, a well-known musician, dies in an accident. Devastated and trapped in her grief, she decides that only her love can pull her out of the sadness. However, amidst the mourning, she becomes the center of attention in the village, attracting various characters who attempt to console her. From a young aspiring singer to an old friend of the deceased, each suitor has his own courting style, leading to bittersweet situations and comedic moments.

As the woman receives multiple offers of help and companionship, she begins to question her own desire to move forward. The interactions with the men of the village reveal not only the complexity of love and friendship but also the social norms of the time. Although her heart is broken, she gradually starts to discover her own strength and the power of staying alive, while facing memories that haunt her.

Through a subtle approach to tragedy and comedy, the film becomes a poignant portrait of human resilience. Amid laughter and tears, the protagonist realizes that life goes on, and that love can transform, even if it's not the same as what she once knew. On a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, she learns that hope, though painful, can always bloom.
