In a prehistoric village, two young hunters, Zed and Oh, lead a carefree and somewhat clumsy life, focusing more on fun than on responsibilities. However, everything changes when Zed, the more impulsive of the two, makes a grave mistake: he steals a forbidden fruit from the tree of wisdom. This results in his banishment from the tribe, leading him on an unexpected adventure alongside his loyal companion Oh, a more sensible and contemplative type.

Immersed in a wild world full of challenges, Zed and Oh begin to encounter various civilizations. From cannibals to communities that worship curious and eccentric gods, their mischief leads them to hilarious situations that test their friendship. Along the way, Zed is determined to prove his worth and seeks to win the affection of a beautiful woman from a neighboring tribe, while Oh struggles with his own identity and desires.

Amid misunderstandings and life lessons, Zed and Oh discover what it truly means to belong to something greater than themselves. With irreverent humor and a cast that includes Jack Black and Michael Cera, the movie is a comedic exploration of life, friendship, and evolution, in a journey that will teach them that sometimes, the most important thing is to never lose sight of who they truly are.
