We tell you what the nail trends will be for this 2023

Nail trends are constantly evolving and changing. From bright, bold colors to intricate patterns and jewelry details, there are plenty of options available for people who want to experiment with their nail looks. Also, with the popularity of social media and the influence of celebrities, nail trends have become more accessible and popular than ever.

In recent years, we've seen a resurgence of bright, vibrant nail colors, including neon, hot pink, and bright yellow shades. These cheerful and bold colors are perfect for those who want to add a pop of color to their look and make a statement. Furthermore, nail patterns such as dots and stripes are also gaining popularity. These simple yet effective patterns are an easy way to add some extra flair to your nails without making them feel too overwhelming.

Another popular nail trend is the use of embellishments, such as rhinestones, pearls, and crystals, to give your nails a more sophisticated and elegant look. These decorations are perfect for special events, such as weddings and graduations, and can be customized to suit each person's individual tastes. Furthermore, the use of animal motifs, such as leopard and zebra, is also gaining popularity on the nails. These patterns are a fun and playful way to add some extra flair to your nails and make a statement.

Finally, the use of nails with a natural and minimalist appearance has also spread. With the rise in health and wellness awareness, many people are opting for less elaborate, more natural nails. This includes soft colors such as pale pink and beige, and glossy, smooth finishes. This trend is perfect for those who want a more elegant and sophisticated look, but without going overboard.

But since we are in the year 2023 and the trends do not stop changing and when it comes to nail design it is no exception. For this year some of the following trends will be on the rise and here we will tell you about them.

  • Natural nail design, monocolor manicures with shades between nude and pink.
  • Nails decorated with metallic details
  • The classic and always elegant French manicure
  • Glazed nails
  • 3D nail designs
  • Nail art with rhinestone details

The nail arts with dots will be one of the great protagonists since we will see manicures with large and small dots arranged in rows. In the case of the French manicure, the line will be finer than ever with very daring colors.

  • Gold and silver
  • Red
  • Pink
  • Brown
  • Pewter blue

What is hiking or hiking and how do I start practicing it?

What is hiking and how do I start practicing it?

Surely several of us have been interested in going for a walk in nature, having closer contact with the forests or the mountains and thus being able to get away from city life for a few hours. Being in contact with the flora and fauna close to us will help us to have a healthier life.

What is hiking?

We can say that hiking is a sporting activity, not competitive, which consists of walking along a path. This trail may or may not be marked, and is generally done along country lanes, greenways, or forest paths.

One of the purposes of hiking is to bring people closer to the natural environment and create awareness through this activity. Anyone can practice hiking, since it adapts to the physical conditions of each person. It has different degrees of technical difficulty and levels of physical effort.

What are the types of hiking that exist?

There are four types of hiking:

  • Mountain Hiking
    • It is characterized by being carried out in areas of great unevenness, with narrower paths and on different terrains that offer a certain level of difficulty.
  • Hiking in Nature
    • It is carried out on terrain with little unevenness, without large slopes. In general, it is carried out on well-defined paths and with good signage, since its objective is to contemplate the natural panorama of the area.
  • Fast hiking
    • Like mountain hiking, but giving more speed to the walk. The trails may or may not be defined, giving it the allure of having to decide your own path.
  • Hiking in the Snow
    • It is done on snowy trails, not too complicated

What are the types of trails and their signage?

Local trails

They have a short route, less than 10 km and their level of difficulty is low. That makes them suitable for touring with the family, without the need for sophisticated equipment or physical preparation or previous hiking experience.

Local trails

Short-distance trails

Its extension does not exceed 50 km, so they are designed to be traveled generally in a single day.

Short-distance trails

Long-distance trails

Any route that exceeds 50 km falls into this category, and they can cross different municipalities or towns. It is usually done over several days.

Senderos de gran recorrido

  • Continuity
    • It consists of a white line above and another of the color corresponding to the trail below. If two trails meet at the sign, the one with the highest rank is marked first. In other words, a section common to a GR path and a PR path is marked with a white, red and yellow stripe.
  • Abrupt change of direction
    • Same as the Continuity sign, with an inverted L below in white.
  • Turn
    • Se emplea cuando se deja el camino para tomar otro. Se marca con dos líneas paralelas que simulan la dirección del cambio.
  • Wrong direction
    • It is placed at the beginning of a path that should not be taken. The colors of the path type are used in the form of a cross, with the stripe running from the lower left to the upper right.

What items do I need?

  • Backpack
    • It should be between 18 and 32 liters in capacity, preferably lightweight and can be strapped across the chest or hip for comfort.
  • Footwear
    • The sole must be with very good grip and specialized for hiking. Preferably use those that are half boot or full boot. The socks we suggest you use those that are non-slip.
  • Outfit
    • quick dry pants
    • Long-sleeved shirt to protect you from the sun and winds
    • Depending on the destination, a sweatshirt and a windbreaker should be added, in the case of cold places it would be best to bring something suitable for low temperatures.
  • Accessories
    • Light gloves, scarf and hat
  • Canes
  • Sunscreen
  • Class 3 sunglasses, these filter up to 92% of the light, they are used for areas with high luminosity.
  • First aid kit
  • Water, about two liters per person.
  • Food in small portions
  • Bag to carry all your garbage

Hiking

Is it good to take my dog?

Taking your dog with you on a day of hiking is not a bad idea. In fact, hiking with dogs is an activity that strengthens the bond with your pet and with which, without a doubt, you will make them very happy. If your dog loves to go for a walk, imagine how he would like to go on a nature trail for hours. Hiking is a very good exercise for the mind and body, both for you and your furry friend.

To take your best friend for a day of hiking, here are some recommendations:

  • Plan the route
    • You should know in advance the total duration of the trip, the kilometers and everything related to the terrain. You must choose depending on your physical capacity and that of your dog.
  • Take into account the weather
    • It is not advisable to go out on a hot or very rainy day. The best time to go out with your dog is in Autumn.
  • Choose a route according to the abilities of your dog
    • You must take into account the breed, age, physical condition, stamina and health of your canine companion. Do not force him to make a physical effort that could bring negative consequences.
  • Avoid dangerous areas
    • Cliffs, climbing or suspension bridges could be problematic for your dog. Also the asphalt in summer could cause burns on your dog's legs.
  • Protect your dog's pads
    • Use protective cream before and after each route, so you will prevent them from cracking and the dog from getting hurt. It is also advisable to check from time to time, during the tour, that the legs are fine, without cuts or any buried object.
  • Start small
    • Your first routes with your dog should be short and as they get used to it, the difficulty and duration increase.
  • Bring enough water for both of you
    • This way you will avoid dehydration, take a portable drinker or a collapsible silicone feeder to offer water or food from time to time to your faithful companion.
  • Remember to take short breaks to replenish energy.

Did you have the livestrong bracelet?

Did you have the livestrong bracelet?

Do you remember that yellow bracelet that everyone wanted to have? Were you one of those who had a livestrong bracelet? But do you remember why they were used? What was its purpose? And most importantly, what happened to all that movement? Today we are going to review history and answer all those questions.

What is the livestrong bracelet?

Before we start we need to remember and explain what livestrong bracelets were. It all started in the year 1996, when the cyclist Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with testicular cancer, so his dreams of being the best cyclist of all time were cut short. Armstrong founded Livestrong in 1997, an NGO that supports cancer cure research and cancer sufferers.

After battling this disease for two years, the now retired cyclist defeated cancer and was able to return to his life as a high-performance athlete. In that same year he began what was one of the most impressive sports careers in history by winning 7 consecutive Tours de France.

Livestrong bracelet

It is at the end of 2003 after the five years of rigor that must be waited for the cancer not to return that the American through his foundation "Lance Armstrong Foundation" launches the "Livestrong" bracelet in a project called "Wear Yellow Live Strong " which sought to raise money for research into cancer cures.

The bracelet was part of the educational program "Wear Yellow Live Strong" whose purpose was to collect money for cancer research, as well as its prevention and support for all people who suffer from it.

Only one dollar cost that bracelet, money that went entirely to the foundation. The bracelet went viral thanks to the fact that great athletes and Hollywood stars wore it both in their daily lives and in important events. More than 50 million bracelets were sold when it was at its peak.

Livestrong bracelet

Popularity in Mexico of the livestrong bracelet

In Mexico the popularity of this bracelet grew like foam, largely thanks to the number of celebrities who wore this yellow bracelet. Fashion and the desire not to be left behind reached such a point that up to 300 pesos were paid for one of them. Although the meaning of what we were wearing was really unknown.

The purpose of wearing a yellow bracelet was not only to raise money for the foundation, but also to give visibility to the cause. If a lot of people wear the cancer bracelet, the cancer theme will more easily become a trend and, therefore, more people would be willing to collaborate financially with it.

Such was the furore of the livestrong bracelet that the foundation raised more than 500 million dollars in favor of the cancer community in the United States. Unfortunately, everything was forgotten because in 2012, Armstrong was accused of systematic doping by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency), finding himself guilty of the charges.

Lance Armstrong doping

Lance Armstrong confessed during an interview with Oprah Winfrey that he used prohibited substances to advance his cycling career. Due to this, the former cyclist decided to break all ties with the foundation so as not to harm it due to his negative acts.

Pulsera Livestrong

With the notoriety stemming from the actions of the Livestrong founder, brands like Nike disassociated themselves from Livestrong entirely. This marked the definitive end of the fashion for yellow bracelets, leaving the foundation in a bad light.

What has become of the Livestrong Foundation and Lance Armstrong?

Despite the doping scandal, Lance Armstrong has remained active in the business world as he has invested in different technology companies such as Uber and Docusign, which have generated million-dollar profits. In addition, the former cyclist created an investment fund, Next Ventures, together with former Canadian athlete Lionel Conacher, which in 2019 had already raised 23 million from its associates to invest in sports brands and in the wellness and nutrition sector.

For its part, the Livestrong Foundation continues to support cancer patients, but completely distanced from what its founder and main promoter was at the beginning of the new millennium. Currently you can donate through the page www.livestrong.org and support all those people who live this terrible disease.

Did you use the livestrong bracelet? What do you think of Lance Armstrong and his fraud as an athlete?

This is the music you should listen to to focus

This is the music you should listen to to focus

Humans live with music at all hours, it is an art that makes us enjoy pleasant times, stimulates our memories and emotions, so it is easy to understand that when we listen to music our brain activates in different ways.

Before, it was believed that listening to music only helped the creative process and the logical approach, but today it is a fact known to everyone that music allows us to enter a state of mind that helps us improve learning.

There are studies that refute the classical belief that the two hemispheres of the brain work differently, if not the opposite, they would work together, so music would support both hemispheres to improve neural connection.

Image removed.

Listening to music activates the activity of the hormone called dopamine, which helps in synaptic connections, whose objective is learning, assimilation of knowledge and memorization. But not every theme or style of music will have the same effect on every brain. There are many studies that affirm that to improve performance, alpha waves must be activated, which are the ones that relax the human brain.

Benefits of music to concentrate

  • Activate emotions
    • Music can generate pleasant sensations that, when associated with pleasure, help to enhance memory and recall.
  • Vocabulary expansion
    • It helps to improve our language, since by listening to music we continually develop a more complete vocabulary thanks to the fact that we promote neural connections.
  • Physical resistance
    • Helps increase physical stamina by up to 15%.
  • Increase the imagination
    • Boosts the creative area of the brain.
  • Improves the cardiovascular system
    • By listening to music we help our blood circulate better, which leads to an improvement in the cardiovascular system and physical and mental state.

Music that we should NOT listen to when studying

These musical styles are not good when studying as they can distract you. In the case of music on the radio, the ads and the announcers are the distracting elements, so it is not recommended to use it when we are looking for concentration.

Although these styles of music are not the most appropriate to generate the necessary concentration when studying, they do have other benefits that we can obtain by listening to them.

  • Heavy metal, rock and punk rock help lower stress levels and anger, as well as increase physical performance in cardiovascular activities.
  • Salsa music produces numerous physical, emotional, and mental benefits, as it relieves stress, increases cardiorespiratory capacity, and improves coordination and balance. Helps release both dopamine and adrenaline.

These are some of the musical styles that you should not listen to when studying:

  • Rock
  • Heavy metal
  • Punk rock
  • Pop
  • Radio music
  • Reggaeton

Music to listen to when studying

When we go to study, it is not recommended to listen to music that has some type of lyrics or that provokes emotions that remind us of events that we have experienced, since it can distract us if we do not have a good management of our emotions.

It is important to have a playlist specially made for the study, in this way we will not have to cut our activity to choose music. Ideally, the duration of our playlist should be around two hours, since at the end of it it will give us time for a break.

The ideal musical styles to study are:

  • Clasic
    • Improves memory, attention and concentration capacity
    • Helps concentration and contributes to making the effort more enjoyable.
  • New Age
    • Induces changes in the autonomic nervous system similar to those experienced by people when meditating
  • Chill out
  • Soft Jazz
  • Natural sounds
    • The sounds of nature have great power in our body. The sound of the rain and the wind or the tinkling of the water of a flowing river can help us to better concentrate.

  • Avoid distractions, so put your cell phone aside
  • Choose the study method that best suits your skills, be it transcribing, underlining, summarizing, outlining, or concept mapping. Recording yourself reading to listen to it, reciting the agenda aloud or explaining it to another person can also help us.

We tell you what nepo babies are and the controversy surrounding them

We tell you what nepo babies are and the controversy surrounding them

Throughout history there have always been cases in which great artists are backed by fame or money from their families. The upper classes and aristocrats, in ancient times, were the ones who financed a large part of the cultural treasures that we can appreciate today in large museums or that exist in private collections.

This has carried over to the world of film and television, in which the careers of young artists are driven by fame and/or money from their families, and in some cases despite not having great talent.

What is nepotism?

A practical and simple way to explain the meaning of nepotism is when a person obtains a job thanks to having relatives or friends in positions of power, without taking into account the skills or aptitudes of that person.

What are nepo babies?

Hollywood nepo babies are a group of young talents who have grown up in the public eye due to their influential families in the entertainment industry. Oftentimes, the children of successful actors, directors, producers, and other professionals in Hollywood have an advantage compared to other aspiring actors or artists who don't have those same connections. However, there are also many examples of talented nepobabies who have achieved legitimate success in the industry due to their own talent and hard work.

In many cases, these young people have been exposed to the entertainment industry from an early age, surrounded by successful family members, and surrounded by unique resources and opportunities. In addition, the influence of their families often gives them access to opportunities to develop their talents and build their careers, either through industry connections or through financial and emotional support.

However, this advantage can also be a disadvantage for some nepobabies, as there is also a strong expectation for them to meet the expectations of their families and achieve the same level of success. Also, they are often accused of not having to work as hard as others to achieve their goals.

How did the nepo baby controversy arise?

The problem arises since these artists receive opportunities simply because of the family name, so equal opportunities do not exist and those who build their career through years of effort are not as recognized as these so-called nepo babies.

This trend has always existed in Hollywood, but an article from New York Magazine refers to the new generation of artists driven by family fame and how thanks to this they are appearing in many movies and series, and at the same time thanks to this maybe they took an opportunity from a talented unknown.

To give another dimension to this problem, a study by the British newspaper The Guardian points out that the presence of the lower classes within the creative professions within the United Kingdom reaches only 7.9% of the total, that is, out of 100 people in professions such as plastic artists. , poets, painters, playwrights only 8 come from a low social stratum.

Who are the most famous nepo babies?

We present you the best drones if you plan to start with this hobby

Unmanned vehicles are known as drones, and are capable of moving through the air without the need for a pilot on board. They are controlled remotely or through programming using software and GPS.

Drones are used in a wide variety of areas ranging from the military field, professional photography and even personal use. They can move quickly over uneven terrain and easily overcome obstacles, this gives them great versatility. This industry has experienced exponential growth in recent years and that is why it is more common to see them with recreational use.

If you want to get started in this hobby, it is necessary to take several things into account since there are a large number of drone modules, all with different characteristics and prices.

drones for beginners

What types of drones are there?

Drones for civilian use

Within civil use, many other uses can be distinguished, from toys to those used for commercial use. Therefore there are drones for children's use, designed for indoor flights and easy to use and at an affordable price. For adults and those who already show a little more experience or interest in this type of device, the next leap is drones for amateur use.

These types of drones have a higher price since they are more equipped drones and with more sensors, motors and offer other types of benefits. Before purchasing this type of drone, we advise you to read our recommendations.

And finally, there are drones that are for professional use. These types of offer a greater flight range and are usually equipped with all kinds of systems that promote safer flight outdoors and may have GPS in real time to be able to locate them at all times.

Drones for military use

The first drones were born for use in the military field and to this day they continue to be used for many tasks within this field. Within the military industry, drones are not only used for combat, they also have other functions such as supplying supplies, locating human lives and examining terrain that is difficult to access.

How are drones classified?

Rotary wing

They are the most widespread type of drone and used both at a leisure and professional level. They are also known as multirotors and can be classified in turn into:

  • Tricopters (3 engines)
  • Quadcopters (4 engines)
  • Hexacopters (6 engines)
  • Octocopters (8 engines)

They are drones that can take off and land vertically and from practically any surface, their great drawback is related to the flight autonomy they offer. For some types of tasks we must have several spare batteries to replace them.

Fixed wing

Fixed-wing drones are those that are capable of taking advantage of the air and generating forces that allow them to stay in the air, taking advantage of their aerodynamics. They have a design and aesthetics similar to that of an airplane and are usually used to map large areas thanks to their great autonomy.

The main drawback with respect to rotary-wing drones is that fixed-wing drones cannot maintain flight over a certain point and that they cannot take off autonomously. These types of drones require that we drive or launch ourselves to start the flight.

How to choose my first drone?

If you want to buy your first drone and you don't know where to start, we suggest you take into account the following characteristics.

  • Handling: The most important feature if you are starting out in this hobby. What you should keep in mind is that the drone has a flight stabilizer, this technology allows it to remain stable vertically. In this section we also recommend you investigate whether the drone has its own remote control or the smartphone is used for that, since you may feel more comfortable with one of the options or you will need more practice time to use it outdoors.
  • Autonomy: Look for a drone with an acceptable flight time, this way you can enjoy more flight time and have more time to practice. Some drones can overheat so it is advisable to let it rest for about 15 minutes between flights.
  • Resistance: Look for a drone that is resistant to blows, since in your first hours of flight it will most likely receive many of them. Don't forget to use the propeller guards as an extra protective measure.
  • Camera: If you are looking to use the drone for audiovisual purposes, then you should review the characteristics of the camera and find which one suits your needs.

These are the most common running injuries and how you can avoid them

These are the most common running injuries and how you can avoid them

Running, or running, is a sport that has been spreading in its practice, becoming more popular day by day. In addition to the fact that running is one of the oldest exercises in the history of mankind that serves as the basis for many other highly popular sports.

Although you might think that running is easy to practice, doing it with an incorrect technique can cause various injuries that, if not taken care of, can lead to severe problems later on. The most common injuries associated with running include injuries to the knees, feet, and ankles, as well as injuries to the back and leg muscles.

Knee injuries, such as patellofemoral pain syndrome and knee tendonitis, can be caused by poor posture or poor running technique. Foot and ankle injuries, such as ankle sprains and plantar fasciitis, are often the result of a lack of strengthening of the foot and ankle muscles, as well as poor shoe choices.

In general, to prevent running injuries it is important to have a good running technique, good footwear, adequate physical preparation and a balanced diet. It is also important to listen to our body and not exceed the intensity or duration of the running sessions. If you experience any pain or injury, it's important to seek treatment as soon as possible to avoid long-term complications.

That is why below we will talk to you in more detail about the most common injuries when running and how to avoid them, in this way you can enjoy all the benefits of doing this exercise.

What are the most common injuries when running?

There are many injuries that can be caused by falling, so we suggest you always do this exercise according to your physical condition and wear the right accessories.

The most common running injuries are:

Patellar tendonitis

It is also known as jumper's knee; since it is more common in athletes whose sports include frequent jumping. This injury causes inflammation and degeneration of the anterior knee tendon that attaches the kneecap to the leg and manifests as pain below the kneecap, mainly when the knee is flexed.

Patellar tendonitis

Achilles Tendonitis

This injury occurs when the tendon that connects the back of the leg to the heel becomes inflamed, the pain produced is near the bottom of the foot. This tendon is called the Achilles tendon and it is what allows us to push our foot down and thanks to it we can walk, run and jump.

Achilles Tendonitis

Fibrillar tear in the hamstrings

This injury is commonly known as a muscle tear and is usually caused by different reasons such as: sudden muscle contraction, excessive elongation or effort that exceeds the muscle's capacity.

Rotura fibrilar en los isquiotibiales

Plantar fasciitis

This injury is one of the most common causes of heel pain, it inflames a thick band of tissue that crosses the sole of the foot, this band connects the heel bone with the toes. It supports the arch of the foot and absorbs the impact when walking. This condition occurs, above all, in people who are overweight, who work standing up or who use inappropriate footwear when jogging.

Fascitis plantar

Shin splints

This injury is also known as tibial stress syndrome and causes pain along the inner part of the tibia, that is, it is felt by the shin bone due to the inflammation of the membrane that surrounds the tibia. It is usually caused by running or other high-impact activity and usually improves with rest and does not cause lasting problems.

Shin splints

Iliotibial band syndrome

This syndrome is also known as runner's knee and is one of the most frequent injuries in people who run. It occurs when the tendon that connects the hip to the knee repeatedly rubs against the outside of the knee joint, causing discomfort on the outside of the knee.

Iliotibial band syndrome

Stress fracture of the metatarsals

These types of fractures are caused by overuse. When we run, the feet endure continuous pressure every time the ground is struck. This movement can cause weakness in some areas of the bones. It can cause intense pain in the front of the foot that forces you to stop walking.

Stress fracture of the metatarsals

Chondromalacia patellar

This condition is also known as patellofemoral pain syndrome and is used to describe pain in the front of the knee.
It appears when the cartilage that covers the kneecap erodes and softens. It generally occurs due to instability or malposition of the patella in its joint with the femur.

Chondromalacia patellar

How do I avoid injuries when running?

There are a number of things you can do before, during, and after your run that will help minimize the chances of a fitness-impairing injury.

Heating

It is essential to prepare our body before doing any type of exercise, by doing it properly we can achieve our goal without so much effort and avoiding injuries to our body.

Warm-up exercises before running increase body temperature, blood flow, and heart rate through dynamic stretching and aerobic movements.

The warm-up must be done as a routine before starting our exercise, no matter in what modality. We will show you some warm-up exercises that will help you prepare your body for the demands of running.

There are creams that help warm up the muscles before doing physical activity, we recommend that you try one to avoid possible injuries.

Hamstring stretches

With this training exercise we stretch the back muscles of the thigh. It is done standing up, crossing the legs, and keeping them as stretched as possible, and bending the body forward and trying to touch the ground with the hands, while also pushing the weight of the trunk downwards.

Knee to chest

Standing, we cross our legs, keeping them as stretched as possible, and bend our bodies forward to try to touch the ground with our hands, while also pushing our weight downwards.

Hip flexor extension

For this warm-up exercise, step one leg over the other. The lead leg should be bent, with the knee in line with the ankle and the thigh parallel to the ground. The other leg should be fully extended but with the foot touching the ground.

We repeat several sessions per leg, placing our hands on the flexed knee to help us better maintain balance. This will warm up our legs and hips, which will help the stride.

Knee raise

This warm-up exercise before running must be done very quickly, and arms and legs are warmed up, in a space of 40-50 meters, since it is done as if we were running with very short strides.

We raise our knees as much as possible, and with short running steps, we accompany the movement with our arms. The more the knees rise and the arms move, the better the warm-up and the longer the running stride.

Warm up with twists

In this exercise, speed is also a better warm-up. It consists of moving with the feet crossed towards lateral directions. Cross feet alternately, turning the hip to the opposite side of the crossed front foot, moving outstretched arms in the same direction as the hip, and turning. It is a good warm up for all muscles.

Choice of terrain

There are several types of terrain on which you can run, but we advise you to avoid asphalt at all costs. Because it is a very hard surface, the joints take a lot of effort and are more likely to get injured.

In case you have no other option, you should look for shoes with excellent cushioning, in this way the impact will be less and you will be able to help your joints suffer less.

Soft terrain such as dirt or grass cushions and protects the joints. You can also do this activity on a synthetic track, these are specially made to avoid injuries to athletes.

Keep hydrated

When running, water is lost due to sweating, our physiological mechanism by which the body expels heat during exercise. But in addition to this liquid, important minerals such as sodium, potassium and magnesium are lost, which can increase the probability of a cramp. To avoid this it is very important to drink water before, during and after running.

A fluid loss of 2% of body weight is enough for physical performance to decrease significantly. Depending on the intensity of the race that you are going to do will be the amount of water to ingest, what we recommend is never to wait until you are thirsty and always hydrate a little before starting physical activity.

Choice of footwear

We need to choose running shoes that adapt well to our foot and our type of footprint, which is not as simple a task as it might seem.

One of the first things to take into account is the pronation of your foot, that is, the inward rotation of the foot at the moment it comes into contact with the ground when running or walking.

Depending on your pronation, it will be the type of footprint you have and the type of running shoe you should choose. To find out for yourself the type of footprint you can review your current tennis shoes and see the wear of the sole.

Neutral footstep

Supinated footstep

When the rotation of the foot is excessive outwards we would be talking about supination. Your weight is supported on the side of the running shoe when you land on your foot, affecting the efficiency of your stride.

The impact of the foot against the ground causes a greater vibration that affects the upper part of your legs. People who run and have a supinated foot strike are more prone to injuries and fractures due to the impact of their footfall. If this is your case, choose running shoes with good cushioning.

Pronator

This type of footprint occurs when the rotation of the foot is excessive inward. The weight of the body tends to be transferred to the inside of the foot, which causes contact between the ground and the inside of the shoe, instead of the metatarsals.

This causes an imbalance, causing the foot to rotate inward to regain lost stability. You will be able to tell if your footprint is pronating if your tennis shoes have excessive wear on the inside of the heel and in the area of the big toe. The tennis shoes that you should use are those with good cushioning and support.

Progression in the exercise

When running it is advisable to start from less to more, going for a run does not mean doing a 100-meter dash or completing a marathon in the first week of training.

The rhythm and distance will always be linked to our physical capacity and we must not force our body to carry out an activity to which it is not used or prepared.

A good method to progress when we begin to practice this activity is to carry out training that combines a brisk walk, continuous running and jogging.

Heart check

This point is only necessary for very specific cases, if you are over 40 years of age, are overweight, have a chronic illness or have not exercised for a long time, it would be best to have a medical check-up to find out if there are risks of suffer some cardiovascular discomfort and thus perform the exercise with all possible precautions.

Pet toys are one of the most popular products as they offer animals a way to exercise and stay entertained. From chew toys to balls and interactive toys, pet toys are available in a variety of materials and sizes to fit any pet's needs.

Pet clothing and accessories are also available in a wide range of options. From coats to shoes, hats and bags, pet clothing and accessories are not only a way to keep your pet warm and comfortable, but also a way to show your love and care for them.

In addition, there are pet care products, such as brushes, combs and bath products, which help maintain the hygiene and well-being of pets. There are also safety products, such as leashes and harnesses, that ensure the safety of pets while they are away from home.

That is why having a pet is a great experience. They become an important member of our families and fill the house with life with their personality and witticisms. It is also true that it entails an extra expense to care for them and maintain all their needs. Sometimes we get so extreme in choosing things for them that we can spend fortunes. Although we have to learn not to be victims of an excessive consumption of objects that we are not going to use.

A pet in the home also implies that the furniture is increased by a series of elements more or less necessary for the comfortable existence of our companions.

What products are essential for the care of our pets?

Depending on the task, it will be what we need to keep them well cared for.

Feeding

The utensils that cannot be missing are the feeder, the drinker and I think. We can look for automatic food and water dispensers that help us a bit in the tedious task of serving food several times a day.

Cleanliness

We must take into account the physical characteristics of each animal in order to choose correctly what we need. Generally the most important thing is to have a hairbrush and thus avoid that the house is full of these.

Walk

If you have a dog, you cannot miss everything you need to take it out for a walk, a leash around the neck can hurt it, so we recommend using bibs. If you have problems with pulling or a bad attitude when he goes out with you, you can get anti-pull bibs that will help you control it more easily. You can not forget the bags for the waste, we do not want to leave it on the ground and someone steps on it.

Toys

This is something essential for every pet, it helps us keep it entertained and so it doesn't destroy our things. Let's not forget that even though toys help to have fun, interaction with us is of the utmost importance.

ID

Remember that your pet, if it leaves the house, must be well identified. Don't forget to buy them a necklace with their tag where you add all the contact details in case it gets lost.

Snap

Get a comfortable bed for your pet, this will help keep them away from our furniture and prevent them from getting damaged. You can also give him a blanket for cold days. Place it in a quiet place and away from drafts.
