In the 19th century, the world is astonished by the emergence of a mysterious sea monster that has sunk numerous vessels in the oceans. To investigate and stop the feared creature, governments decide to send an expedition to sea. Among those chosen are Professor Aronnax, his servant Conseil, and the intrepid Ned Land, a whaler. As they board the schooner Abraham Lincoln, the three men prepare to confront the legend.
However, what they discover is far more extraordinary than they had imagined. The monster turns out to be the submarine Nautilus, commanded by the enigmatic Captain Nemo, a man with a dark past and deep distrust of humanity. As the schooner is attacked, Aronnax and his group are captured and taken aboard the submarine. There, they immerse themselves in an underwater world filled with wonders and dangers, from schools of bioluminescent fish to monstrous abyssal creatures.
As they try to understand Nemo's philosophy, Aronnax finds himself caught between the fascination with the ocean's secrets and the despair of being a prisoner. Tensions rise as Ned longs to return to the surface and save his companions. With a blend of adventure, science, and moral dilemmas, the journey becomes an exploration of the limits of knowledge and the struggle between freedom and oppression in the depths of the sea.
