On a magical night in London, an orphan girl named Sophie meets a friendly giant who collects children's dreams while they sleep. This giant, of enormous stature and an even bigger heart, calls himself the BFG (Big Friendly Giant). Although Sophie is initially frightened by his imposing appearance, she soon discovers that he is a kind being who cares about children's dreams and has a peculiar way of speaking.
The BFG lives in an idyllic yet strange world located at the top of a hill, where giants hunt and eat humans. Unlike his fearsome family of giants, who are clumsy and terrifying, the BFG refuses to eat children. However, his kindness makes him the target of their mockery and wicked schemes. Together, Sophie and the BFG embark on an unexpected and magical adventure that takes them from their peaceful refuge to Buckingham Palace, where they must convince the Queen that it is time to put an end to the terrifying reign of the other giants.
As they face challenges and discover the value of friendship and hope, Sophie and the BFG demonstrate that courage can change the world, even when it seems like everything is against them. This heartwarming story celebrates imagination and the connection between a child and her giant protector in an epic journey that will leave everyone with a smile.
