In an absurd mix of comedy and science, two friends, Bud and Doyle, are a couple of carefree party animals whose only goal in life seems to be to have a good time and evade responsibilities. One day, their lives take an unexpected turn when they accidentally find themselves locked inside an innovative ecological research project: a biological dome designed to simulate a self-sustaining ecosystem. Unwittingly, they become part of an experiment with a team of scientists dedicated to studying the impact of the environment on life.
As the two guys adapt to their new and peculiar home, a series of ridiculous and hilarious situations unfolds. From gourmet cooking to the mazes of living in a controlled environment, Bud and Doyle prove to be more of a curse than a blessing for the research team. Things get complicated when the scientists become exasperated by their carefree behavior, which clashes with the serious academic atmosphere.
Amid the chaos and laughter, the two friends also learn some lessons about ecology, friendship, and the importance of caring for our surroundings. As they try to find a way to escape, the audience laughs out loud at their antics while also reflecting on the impact of humans on nature. With a touch of madness and plenty of fun, this film challenges the norms of science and common sense.
