Black Peter

In a small Czech town, a young man named Peter lives a quiet and monotonous life, working as an apprentice in a grocery store. Despite his mundane routine, Peter has a dreamy spirit and yearns for more than the typical life of his surroundings. His life takes an unexpected turn when, after facing a series of disagreements with his boss, he is fired. With no clear direction, he embarks on an adventure in search of his place in the world.

As he moves from one place to another, Peter encounters a series of peculiar characters: from a group of clowns to a rebellious young woman who inspires him to question his life. His journey becomes one of self-discovery, where challenges and disappointments are part of the experience. While Peter navigates the confusion of his feelings and desires, the relationships he forms teach him valuable lessons about life, love, and freedom.

The protagonist's internal struggle between conformity and the desire for freedom leads him to confront the harsh reality of growing up. With an almost surreal approach, the film captures the essence of youth and the disillusionment of lost dreams, offering a heartfelt portrait of human aspirations. In a world where joy and sorrow are two sides of the same coin, Peter ultimately must make choices that will lead him to a new understanding of himself and his place in the world.
