In the world of ballet, perfection is the only option, and Nina, a young dancer, is determined to reach the top. The pressure to stand out comes not only from her demanding mother, who was also a dancer, but also from her own obsession with the lead role in "Swan Lake." When her dance company decides to bring this well-known work to life, Nina finds herself caught between the search for purity and seduction, as she must embody both the delicate white swan and the seductive black swan.

As the premiere approaches, the competition intensifies with the arrival of Lily, a new dancer who embodies everything Nina longs for but also fears. The connection between them becomes complicated, wavering between admiration and envy. As Nina faces her own inner demons, she begins to experience a series of hallucinations and a deterioration of her mental health. The line between reality and madness blurs, pushing her into an abyss of self-destruction.

The pressures and the desire to be perfect lead her to make extreme choices and explore the dark corners of her psyche. Dance becomes a visceral representation of her struggle, culminating in an explosive climax where she risks not only her career but also her own life. A captivating story that explores the thin line between greatness and madness.
