In the near future, a group of researchers at a remote military base in the heart of a forest finds themselves caught up in a strange phenomenon. Their daily lives take a macabre turn when they discover that alien creatures have begun to replace humans. These gelatinous entities infiltrate the bodies of their victims while they sleep, perfectly replicating their appearance and personality, but erasing any hint of emotion or individuality.
Chaos ensues when a young girl, traveling with her father in search of answers, becomes the last hope to unravel this mystery. As paranoia grows among the team members, the group starts to question their own humanity and the loyalty of those around them. With each new dawn, the number of replaced beings increases, and the tension becomes unbearable. The protagonist becomes a hunter, trying to find allies and survive the insidious invasion.
Amid the tensions, she must confront her own fears and the moral dilemmas that arise when facing beings who were once her loved ones. The struggle turns into an intense game of cat and mouse, as the young girl tries to save what's left of humanity. With each passing minute, the clock ticks against her, and every decision could mean the difference between salvation and damnation. Will the few remaining humans be able to hold out before it’s too late?
