In the vibrant and dangerous Marseille of the 1930s, two inseparable friends—a clever young man from humble beginnings and a charismatic gangster—form a partnership that will lead them to become the kings of crime. Set against the backdrop of a city marked by corruption and violence, these two characters make a name for themselves in the underworld using their wits and unwavering loyalty.

Everything begins when, after a failed robbery, they are forced to join forces to protect each other from their enemies. As they rise in the ranks of crime, their actions bring both success and trouble. Living on the dark side has its consequences: shady deals, betrayals, and a constant game of cat and mouse with the police. The relationship between the two becomes increasingly complicated as ambitions and jealousy threaten to undermine their friendship.

With stunning visuals and a distinctive style, the plot plays with elements of comedy and action while offering a reflection on loyalty and the price of a criminal life. Scenes of chases and shootouts are complemented by an exceptional cast, including one of the greats of French cinema. Ultimately, the film reveals that in the world of crime, glory is fleeting, and loyalty can be the most dangerous weapon of all. The film is a tribute to camaraderie, but also to the shadows that loom over those who choose the wrong path.
