Celestine

In 19th century France, a young woman named Célestine finds herself trapped in a world where social class and strict norms govern daily life. After leaving her home in search of freedom and a better future, she becomes a servant in a luxury mansion. The wealthy family that hires her is a collection of extravagant and selfish characters, each with their own quirks and problems. As Célestine delves into her new role, she soon discovers that life behind the mansion’s doors is not as glamorous as it seems.

Surrounded by intriguing secrets and toxic relationships, our protagonist becomes a witness to the hypocrisy of high society. The complexity of her life is reflected in her interactions with the housewife, who lives tormented by a loveless marriage, and the family’s son, a troubled young man who defies the expectations of his lineage. With each chapter of her life, Célestine confronts her own desires and aspirations while navigating a sea of deceit and revelations.

Through her journey, the story serves as a profound reflection on class struggle, sacrifice, and the quest for autonomy. With a touch of dark humor and a dramatic backdrop, Célestine fights to define her own identity in a world that seems determined to keep her in her place. Her journey through servitude is not only a struggle for survival but also an act of resistance in search of her own destiny.
