At a glamorous casino event on the French Riviera, the famous detective Charlie Chan finds himself at the heart of a dazzling mystery. While enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and the aristocrats swirling around the gaming tables, a murder shakes the place: a millionaire is found dead in his luxurious apartment. The local police are baffled, and the pressure mounts as familiar faces in high society begin to suspect one another.

Chan, with his innate talent for wit and observation, becomes involved in the investigation, unraveling hidden secrets of intriguing characters who seem to have more than one motive for wanting the deceased gone. From the beautiful yet enigmatic wife of the millionaire to business partners with their own agendas, everyone is a potential suspect.

As the investigation unfolds, Chan faces a series of unexpected twists and misleading clues, interspersed with moments of humor and his characteristic calm approach. With his team of allies and his sharp intellect, he plunges into a maze of betrayals and manipulations. Through his wisdom and cunning, Chan will reveal the truth behind the murder, discovering that in the world of glamour and money, nothing is as it seems. In the end, the resolution of the case will not only bring justice but also a lesson about human nature and greed.
