In a city where life seems like an emotional desert, Gloria, a woman who has fallen into the abyss of alcoholism and a lack of direction, returns to her old home after being evicted from her apartment in New York. As she tries to rebuild her life, she reconnects with her childhood friend, Oscar, who sees in her an opportunity to revive his own dream of opening a bar. However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when a series of disastrous incidents begin to shake the city of Seoul, South Korea: a colossal monster appears and wreaks havoc, sowing fear and confusion.
