In a romantic yet unsettling European city, a British couple, Colin and Mary, seeks to escape the routine of their daily lives. During their vacation, they encounter an enigmatic local, the strange and charismatic Robert, who seems obsessed with them. Robert, portrayed by a disturbing yet seductive character, invites them to explore the darker corners of their surroundings, leading them through a labyrinth of experiences that blend desire and danger.

As the days go by, the idyllic atmosphere becomes a threatening playground. Colin, increasingly intrigued by the spell that Robert seems to cast over Mary, finds himself caught between the challenges of passion and distrust. The relationship among the three intensifies and complicates, revealing hidden secrets and latent tensions.

The plot immerses you in a world of psychological manipulation, where love and violence merge, and the boundaries of intimacy are tested. As Colin and Mary navigate this web of seduction, they begin to question their own relationship and what they are willing to lose. In a shocking conclusion, the nature of what they consider "comfortable" collapses, pushing them to the edge of their own limits. This film, filled with atmosphere and disturbing twists, offers a haunting exploration of desire and vulnerability in a society that often feels more strange than familiar.
