The Corruption

In a small village in rural France in the 1960s, the life of a modest family changes dramatically with the arrival of a young housekeeper. This girl, with a complicated and trauma-filled past, becomes the new "bonne" of the household, taking care of the chores and, above all, looking after the family's three children. With a mixture of tenderness and rebellion, she quickly becomes an emotional pillar for the little ones, but also a catalyst for family tensions.

While the mother finds herself trapped in her daily routine, filled with frustrations and unfulfilled dreams, the young woman brings a breath of fresh air and provokes unexpected changes in the household dynamic. Her way of seeing life, freer and less conventional, awakens in all family members a desire to break free from their own limitations. However, the revelation of hidden secrets and the complexity of emotional ties generate tense situations and conflicts that push relationships to the brink.

As the story progresses, the bonne not only transforms the home but also challenges each family member to confront their own fears and desires. With a touch of comedy and drama, the narrative explores themes such as freedom, love, and tensions between social classes, leaving a reflection on the quest for identity in a constantly changing world.
