In a dark corner of Los Angeles, an ex-convict named Nick D'Angelo has just been released from prison, but he has no intention of leaving his past behind. After receiving a surprising visit from an old friend who offers him a hefty reward, Nick finds himself drawn into an intriguing game of betrayals and crimes that leads him to investigate the death of a man involved in a robbery. Throughout his search, he uncovers clues that point to a carefully woven trap set by a corrupt police officer and a group of criminals.

With the help of his loyal yet reluctant companion, a young man with one foot in the dark side, Nick must unravel a web of deception while grappling with his own internal struggle to redeem himself from a shady past. But things complicate when personal interests and old grudges surface, endangering not only his life but also the lives of those around him. In a treacherous race against time, he discovers that loyalty in the criminal underworld is a thorny currency, and the truth can be more dangerous than he ever imagined.

As the conflict escalates, the suspense grips every corner of the plot, leading to an explosive climax that tests his courage. In the end, Nick must face not only his enemies but also himself.
