Death Becomes Her

In a dazzling yet ruthless society of luxury, we follow Madeline Ashton, an aging and vain actress obsessed with eternal youth. When her old friend Helen Sharp, who has become a successful writer, reappears in her life looking radiant, the competition between the two women intensifies. Madeline, feeling threatened in her status and allure, is dragged into a spiral of jealousy that leads her to desperately seek a solution.

The plot takes a macabre turn when both women stumble upon a mysterious elixir that promises immortality. The magic of the potion is tempting, and the two friends take it without considering the consequences, but what seemed like a gift becomes a curse. As the story unfolds, both must deal with the horrifying and unexpected repercussions of their decision, as the elixir not only keeps them young, but also distorts their understanding of life and death.

Filled with dark and fantastical humor, the film explores themes of obsession with beauty and vanity, while offering a visual spectacle that challenges the boundaries of reality. Amidst hilarious and grotesque situations, viewers are taken on a journey that questions what it really means to live, and to what extremes people would go to preserve their youth and attractiveness, even when it means losing their humanity.
