Down and Out in Beverly Hills

  • Log in or register to post comments

In the heart of Beverly Hills, an extravagant wealthy family lives in their luxurious mansion, enjoying a life filled with comforts and superficialities. Jerry, the patriarch of the family, is a successful executive whose life seems perfect, but he increasingly feels distant from his wife, the sophisticated and spoiled Barbara, and from his children, who are anything but grateful. Everything changes when a homeless man named Dave, in an attempt to end his life, stumbles into their garden by the edge of a swimming pool. Instead of shooing him away, Jerry, feeling a strange mix of compassion and curiosity, decides to invite Dave to stay with them.

As Dave’s life intertwines with that of the rich, hilarious misunderstandings and absurd situations arise. This unexpected tenant will show them that happiness is not found in status or money, but in authentic relationships and humility. Meanwhile, the family faces their own issues: infidelities, identity crises, and a sense of emptiness that only living with Dave can help fill. In this clash of classes and values, everyone learns something about what really matters in life. With sharp humor and touching moments, the story explores redemption, human connection, and the strange way a homeless man can change the lives of those who seem to have it all.
