In a small village in rural Mexico, life flows between traditions and laughter, until a group of men is forced to act as heroes in the face of chaos that ensues. It all begins when Don Pedro, a kind-hearted farmer, runs into an old friend who has returned from the north laden with stories and a little secret: he has inherited a fortune that he must protect at all costs. Unfortunately, this news reaches the ears of a feared bandit from the region, who decides that the wealth should not slip from his grasp.
To save his friend and his fortune, Don Pedro devises a crazy plan: to recruit six men from the village, each with a unique skill, to form a group of "macho" men who will confront the bandit’s threat. Among them are a charro, a cook, a cowboy, a drunkard, and other colorful characters who will not only contribute their expertise but also a good dose of humor to the adventure.
As plans fall apart and situations become increasingly absurd, the camaraderie and bravery of these men are put to the test. With misunderstandings, chases, and a couple of ridiculous scenarios, this black-and-white comedy stands out for its blend of action and clever jokes, leading us to explore friendship and honor amid the chaos. Along the way, the village not only faces a villain but also learns to laugh at its own fears and flaws.
