The End of the Homunculus

In a dark and mysterious post-war Berlin, a young man named Miro feels trapped between reality and his hallucinations. After undergoing an innovative surgical procedure that allows him to explore the dark corners of his subconscious, he begins to uncover hidden secrets residing both in his mind and in humanity’s past. The boundaries between madness and sanity blur, and his visions start to reveal a world where desires, fears, and traumas manifest as grotesque figures.

As Miro delves deeper into his journey, he encounters enigmatic characters: a mysterious woman who seems to know him better than he knows himself, an old friend who becomes his guide, and a villain who represents the destructive forces of his psyche. Each of them has their own agenda and secrets that intertwine their fates in a macabre game of power and betrayal.

As the visions grow increasingly vivid and disturbing, Miro must confront the truth he has been avoiding: the monster that dwells within him. In his struggle for redemption and understanding, he faces the possibility that true madness is not reflected in his visions, but rather exists in the society that surrounds him. The film is a haunting exploration of identity, trauma, and the thin line between good and evil, in a journey that will take him to the edge of his own existence.
