In the plot of this hilarious French comedy, we follow the Farès brothers and their inseparable friend, the clumsy and ineffective police officer, as they attempt to solve a series of mysterious murders that have begun to shake the Cannes Film Festival. It all starts when a famous film director showcases his latest movie, a horror thriller that seems to have far less drama than real life. Suddenly, actors and critics begin to show up dead in rather absurd and ridiculous ways, creating chaos that threatens to ruin the prestigious celebration of cinema.

Our protagonists find themselves caught in a series of comedic situations as they try to follow leads, but what should be a serious investigation turns into a parade of visual gags, misunderstandings, and absurdly clever humor. With each stumble, unexpected twists related to the film's production are uncovered. In the end, the climax arrives with a surprising conclusion, where the line between cinema and reality becomes completely blurred.

This film is a true satire of the film industry, packed with iconic moments and memorable dialogues that have endured in popular culture. The combination of absurd humor and a scathing critique of the film industry makes it a timeless classic, ideal for lovers of intelligent and somewhat surreal comedies.
