In this horror sequel, Tommy Jarvis, the sole survivor of Jason Voorhees' brutal attack, is determined to confront his demons from the past. After years of uncertainty and nightmares, Tommy believes that the only way to overcome his trauma is to ensure that Jason is truly dead. Therefore, he decides to dig up the killer's body in the cemetery, but what he does not anticipate is that this act will bring him back to life in the most terrifying way possible.
Jason, revived by a lightning strike, returns stronger and angrier than ever, and begins his relentless hunt at Crystal Lake camp, where the bloody history of the past repeats itself.
