Getting Even with Dad

In this family comedy from the '90s, a somewhat clumsy and always troubled thief is forced to take care of his son, an exceptionally resourceful eleven-year-old named Timmy. The situation complicates when the father, a man who has spent more time running from the law than being a true parent, decides to use his son in a plan to recover a stolen loot.

Timmy, always with a keen sense of justice and a desire to reconnect with his father, realizes that what he truly needs is to escape the shadow of the dangerous criminal world in which his father lives. Hoping to prove that his father is more than just a common thief, he devises a plan for his dad to reclaim a valuable item that has ended up in the wrong hands. Amidst hilarious confrontations and lessons about fatherhood, the duo finds themselves caught up in a series of craziness that tests their bond, all while the action unfolds with villains, absurd chases, and an unexpected sense of humor.

As the plot progresses, Timmy teaches his father about the importance of family and responsibility, while the thief discovers that perhaps his greatest treasure isn't material possessions, but the time he spends with his son. In the end, they confront life in a completely new way, stronger and closer than ever.
