Gregory's Girl

In a Scottish suburb in the 1980s, an awkward yet charming high school student grapples with the frustrations of teenage love. Gregory, a naive and dreamy boy, feels out of place in the world of girls. Everything changes when, one day, he becomes captivated by the beauty and confidence of Dorothy, a new student who stands out among her peers. Determined to win her over, Gregory embarks on a whirlwind of comedic and often disastrous situations, trying to discover what attraction truly means.

As he attempts to win Dorothy's heart, he encounters his best friend, who also has his own romantic entanglements, and a group of classmates who do little more than add confusion to the mix. As the school year progresses, Gregory finds himself caught up in a series of misunderstandings and hilarious situations that lead him to question not only his feelings for Dorothy but also his own identity.

With a charm reminiscent of classic romantic comedies, the story captures the magic and awkwardness of first love. With unexpected twists and endearing scenes, the film not only showcases a teenager's struggle to be taken seriously in love but also the transition into adulthood, where learning to be oneself can be the most important lesson of all.
