In a small French village, a dreamer named Férédéric is an aspiring actor who dreams of becoming a great movie star. He lives with his mother and works in a modest shop, but his imagination leads him to envision a future filled with glamour and fame. Férédéric's life takes an unexpected turn when a film producer arrives in the village searching for a new face for her next movie. Trouble begins when, in an attempt to impress the company, Férédéric becomes the target of a series of misunderstandings and comedic situations.

By accepting to be the lead in the film, Férédéric faces the typical challenges of the film industry: from the pressure to meet expectations to the jealousy of other actors, all while struggling to maintain his authenticity. The production spirals into hilarious chaos, where Férédéric's true talent is put to the test.

As the story unfolds, it weaves together themes of friendship, love, and the pursuit of success in a world that seems to be against you. Amidst laughter and entanglements, Férédéric learns valuable lessons about himself, his passion, and the meaning of true success. With a humorous yet touching approach, this film delves into the heart of dreams and the realities of showbiz, leaving the audience with a smile and perhaps a tinge of nostalgia.
